Rob's Green Chile

This is a recipe I got from my son Rob who cooks in a Mexican restaurant in Denver.

1 lb pork shoulder
1 4oz can diced jalapenos or 5-6 fresh jalapenos
2 4oz cans green chilis
2 cloves garlic diced
2 14oz cans chopped tomatoes
1 small can tomato sauce
1 medium onion diced
cornstarch
S&P
Brown pork on all sides in pot. Cover with water and simmer for 1 hour. Add rest of ingredients except cornstarch and cook until pork is super done. With a fork break pork into pieces. Mix some cornstarch with cold water and slowly add to pot, a little at a time to thicken.
This is what you use to make a smothered burrito.
A glass of cold beer and Ole!
